“terrible customer service”

been an agent of this catalogue for over 20 years.their customer service is now appaling ! this is a relativley recent problem ( past 12 months )
they fob you off if you have a query over mistakes they have made on your account by replying " someone will contact you in 3 days " 3 days pass you contact them again then they say " someone will contact you in 5 days "
in the meantime they continue to request payment for items that they have already confirmed they have received back .
they pass your query from one dept to another without bothering to read all of you communications with them, therefore they really have no idea of what they are supposed to be rectifying. they then ask for information which you have already supplied them with and even ask for information which they have supplied you with themselves ! totally incompetent customer service . i have now threatened small claims court action to get my problems with them sorted out . this is not the length you should have to go to get their mistakes rectified . there was a time when one telephone call was all it took to correct an error . i do not expect a large business to never make a mistake but i do expect them to rectify it as soon as it is brought to their attention . ( as used to be the case )
