I don't need to add anything to the email below. When my gas fitter advised I don't fit the fire I bought I asked if I could exchange it. The following is all I got in reply, and don't try to phone, IMPOSSIBLE. In my opinion - do not use unless you are a gas fitter and know exactly what to order.
Thank you for your email dated 13th February 2012 concerning your Order No. 0055163.
When buying goods the buyer is well protected by law and is given seven days in which to change his/her mind and advise the seller in writing. During that period it is deemed that the seller is still responsible for the goods and it is considered a reasonable time for the buyer to make sure the goods are suitable. However, after that seven-day period, if the buyer has not advised the seller in writing, the responsibility for the goods shifts to the buyer and it is deemed that the goods have been accepted fully by the buyer. In order to emphasize the above, we incorporate the details in our own Terms and Conditions, that are clearly laid out in our Website, and that you accepted when ordering the fire. Your fire was delivered to you on 12th January 2012 and your email notifying us of your change of mind was sent on 13th February 2012. As your request is more than seven days after the delivery date, it is outside the prescribed time limit and no return of unwanted goods can be accepted.
