Our flight was delayed 18 hours,no announcements were made until well after scheduled take off time,after that we were treated like sheep.To his credit the Captain took the trouble to come to the terminal building to explain the problem.The duty mechanic had to fix a frozen toilet on another Jet2 aircraft (delayed 9 hours)before fixing a dodgy computer on our aircraft(obviously a very talented multi-tasker).I suppose these problems are to be expected on aircraft which are 25 years old.To be fair we were given a nice hotel for the night,but the standard of care by Jet2 ground staff was pathetic,a complete opposite to the aircrew who were really great( I suppose practice makes perfect).The following day yet another Jet2 flight was delayed overnight with technical problems!If you book with this lot take a good book-maybe War and Peace should last you.
