There were some initial issues with me being able to contact UK Visa and Immigration via telephone as the lines appeared to be down, but I was able to contact them via their Live-Web-Chat feature whilst the phone lines were fixed.

I was looking to apply for a Business Visit Visa in preparation for visiting the UK to close a major business deal. The fact they had other communication channels in place other than the phone came as great help and actually saved me money as I didn’t have to pay phone charges.

With UK Visa and Immigration I paid the best price possible for my Business Visit Visa and I was able to get through Gatwick Airport without any problems.

I went onto complete the business deal in London.
