“very disappointed wouldnt buy from GEMSTV again ”

Written on: 09/02/2012

I have (I might say 'ever optimistically' though someone else, would I think say 'stupidly') ordered a number of items from GEMSTV over the last few months having only recently started watching this channel. I have had to send 90% of them back due to the quality of the items received being nowhere near as good as the examples of the items shown on the TV. The last one, which arrived yesterday (and it will now definitely be the last one for me), I had actually recorded the program on which it featured so that I could do a comparison when it arrived. Yet again, the quality of the gem in the item I recieved was not a patch on the example of this item shown on TV. The clarity of the main stone on the item I recorded is absolutely stunning and the sparkle tremendous but the stone in the item I recieved (a sphene) is quite opaque and does not sparkle much at all, quite apart from being a completely different shade (I would be less bothered about the shade difference to be honest but I will not put up with opaque stones when the example shown on TV sets my expectation for a stone with good clarity and sparkle)! Previously, I have also been disappointed with the colour of the stones I have received being much paler (almost white in fact) than the example shown on TV (eg morganite and kunzite). This time, having made the recording, I have put it onto a DVD and sent it back with the item for them to do a comparison themselves between what they are showing on TV and what they are sending out. I hope someone there does actually do this comparison. I have definitely come to the conclusion now that they have a good looking version of each item for showing on TV but send out lower quality stones (at least they have done several times with me anyway).

It's alright saying you get what you pay for, but they should not be deceiving people into ordering items by showing one quslity stone on the TV and then sending out lower quality ones.
