What a Con. Took advantage of an interest free option and ordered online, at the time next day delivery was promised as the item was in stock. Next day came and went with no delivery, contacted Jessops eventually on their premium rate line (another con) and was told that the item was temporarily out of stock and that I could expect delivery within 10 days. 10 days came and went, no reply at all to Emails although the stock computer generated 'your custom is important to us we will get back to you within 24 hours' reply was received I got nothing else back form them. If to try and cheat the premium rate number by using the order option they won't help when they answer and advise you to phone again. I did manage to speak to an operator the other day who told me that the camera's were not expected to be back in stock until early March, I explained to them that they were still being shown as being available in store on a collect in 30 mins option or online for delivery within 10 days and how could they mislead customers when Jessops know that the goods are not available for sale, needless to say they couldn't or wouldn't answer that one. Almost £200 in deposits taken and the first payment will be due long before the goods are received. A totally misleading and in my opinion dishonest operation, it wouldn't take much to at least keep customers advised as to the status of current orders and to offer items for sale within a designated time when they are clearly not able to fulfil that part of the contract is a deliberate mis-representation. Still not got a camera but glad to have got that off my chest!!
