“Mis-sold, under-staffed and with a 4 month wait for help!”

My partner and I both signed up for courses with ICS at the same time. Living in the Middle East in a country with no postal service it was important for us that everything was electronic. When we called ICS we were advised by a course advisor that the course was entirely online. However, when we received the material it stated that assignments had to be mailed to their UK address. This was not acceptable to us because of where we live. When we contacted customer services they ignored our issue entirely and continually sent us replies with a generic 'this is how to post your assignments' blurb. This process went on via email and over the telephone at great expense for almost 3 months. When we eventually sent a formal complaint, the person that handled our complaint was actually the person that we were complaining about and told us so in the reply we received. Incredibly unprofessional. We would not advise anybody to study with ICS and have been active in discouraging colleagues wishing to study at home from using the company.
