WRITE A REVIEW

“no technical support”

I bought the Windows 7 and Office pro plus 2010 bundle from S4S in December 2011, and installed onto a clean, brand new machine.

Immediately I had problems with both Word and Excel - program dialog boxes were misformed, Excel cells kept disappearing. I looked for fixes on line but didn't find any, so I went back to S4S.

I called (long 40 minute wait) and spoke to a perfectly nice person, who set me up to be able to download again - so I didn't have to pay again - and told me if I still had problems, to send screengrabs to them by email for technical support to look at. I uninstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled.

Same problem.

So I sent screengrabs, got a message from "Sally" asking for more specific screengrabs, sent them and then got messages saying that I should ask Microsoft, it basically wasn't their problem, and the support they provide is basically just for sales, not technical problems.


So - S4S is a gamble, if it works - great, good value. If it doesn't - you've wasted your money with no comeback.
