“Look very nice at first But are quite poor quality”

written by eddieb101 on 04/02/2012

Firstly The Maxwell Williams dinner set does look nice, we went for it because we wanted white so they could go with everything However, The glazing on the plates is incredibly thin, by that i mean after a few times of use you can seen scratch marks from knifes which has gone through the white glazing and you are left with a pale gray colour underneath. They can be microwaved, frozen and are dishwasher save! The other downside is they seem to chip very easily. By that i mean you can get a mug out of the cupboard and find a chip (with the bit chipped still partly there) or a crack. You get the sense that more effort should have been placed into the quality of these goods and maybe they should have been fired in the oven for longer and at a higher temperature to bake the glazing on! So they are soft, can chip and scratch with ease...i cannot recommend these to anyone!!
