In the past I have always only lasted a couple of days on a diet without falling off the wagon. I live and work in London and have a very active social life, going out for dinner and drinks about 5 times a week. Because of this the weight just piled on without me noticing.
I decided before Christmas I needed to do something about it and having looked through the different diet options, I thought I'd give Go Lower a go. I spoke to Rosie on the phone at Go Lower and she was lovely. She set me up on a 3 month plan.
I'm 4 weeks in and it's been so easy. The foods are really tasty and when I eat out I'm much better in picking healthier options. I'm also less hungry than I was before. Everyone in the forum are so friendly and encouraging, it's nice to see people on the same journey as you.
I guess the main thing everyone wants to know is how much you lose on this diet. Well, before I started I weighed 12stone 4lbs and was a good size 12. I wanted to lose 2 stone and be an 8/10. I'm now a third of the way through and have lost 1 stone 1.5lbs and am now definitely a size 10. And to be honest, I haven't done any exercise (I've promised myself I will this month).
I would definitely recommend this diet for the busy, working girl. It's so easy to do, the food is great and there is a great support network if you are ever tempted to stray.
