I received two experience vouchers totalling £250.00 for my 50th birthday. Due to a traumatic year, due to my wife having two operations, the vouchers were left for the new year. When we tried to book the vouchers had expired on the 2nd January 2012. We emailed RLD, expecting them to be sympathetic but just received the standard response from Louise Cooke which is sent to everyone whatever their circumstances.
We were at fault as we did not register the voucher in time. It appears all of the \"Experience\" firms operate with the same rules, however Red Letter Days maybe the only firm to enforce the rules as can be seen from all their bad publicity in all of the forums.
They even have bad press on www.jamieoliver.com where RLD have adverts!!
All we can do is continue to give them more bad press on forums, web sites etc. until they take notice.
I'm also trying to get a journalist friend to write an article.
The whole \"EXPERIENCE\" has left a bad taste.
