“Tesco's - My last ever diet”

Written on: 06/01/2012 by Happy2bliter

Like many other reviewers, I have been a serial dieter for the past 30 odd years. I have tried lost of different diets - Weight Watchers, lighter life, Slimming world and Atkins - and though I lost weight initially, in the past I have gained it again when I returned to the real world - I had no conception anymore of what a real portion size is, and whether I was actually hungry instead of just bored or upset.

I really rate Tescos diet. The menu for the day is easy, flexible and clear. There is no calculating points etc - just clear portion sizes of good food. Its easy to get the food you need - the site creates a shopping list for you and if you shop with Tescos online you can convert this easily onto an online order. You can easily make the meals into family ones - to satisfy a growing teenager and my husband I just add more protein to their versions of the meal. It is so good to be on a diet but see your self (more or less) eating the same food as everyone else. Its made me more conscious as well about what the rest of the family's - normal - portions should look like - the whole family is benefiting from this, and the increased amounts of fruit and veg.

I havent felt hungry or deprived. I haven't had any mad cravings. And I feel that I am learning how to eat properly as well as losing weight (which is happening at a steady 2 lbs a week)

So I think this is going to be my last diet. This one is set to work.
