I took out the M&S card due to the 0% initial offer on purchases as I was anticipating large outgoings and a lean time with the end of tax year nad a new job. The voucher incentives seemed a bonus. I was surprised I could not get loyalty points if I purchased other than on the card. Also I was disappointed in my credit limit - less than half monthly take home pay.
The final nail in the coffin is the comlexities of using all the vouchers with so many Ts & Cs so I can't use this voucher for that or that one for this and as the minutes tick by I think "my time is worth more than this".
With tesco vouchers you can go there any week and find something you need - with M&S it just doesn't happen - I can go 6 months without any signifiant needs in their store and actually our local department store is so much better stocked I'd not usually bother with M&S so I think it is back to using the cashback card I have and the M&S will soon be closed.
