I live in the U.S. and wanted to send my boyfriend’s family (in the U.K.) a Christmas gift hamper. The original order was placed with Marks & Spencer (what I thought was a reputable company) on November 21st, 2011 with a nominated delivery date for December 22nd, 2011. On December 21st (ONE DAY before it was supposed to be delivered) I received an email from M&S saying that the hamper I chose was out of stock and all they can do is apologize for the inconvenience.
Of course frustrated and pressed for time I began to franticly look for another company who would still have gift hampers left in stock…and there it was – iHampers! The reviews were frightening but I had no choice and ordered a Season’s Greetings Basket that same day (Dec. 21st) to be delivered on Friday the 23rd of December.
The online support center was very helpful and answered all of my questions. On Friday, the 23rd of December my order was delivered!!! The basket was lovely and the family loved it!!!
This was my first time ordering such a gift and I would definitely recommend iHampers based on my experience =)
