“No refund of deposit after "selling" competitor's product!”

Salesman invited after a cold call for quote for new front door, two side windows (one each side of front window) and garage window.
Salesman drew a picture of top and bottom glass \"sight\" lines across the window and front door (top half of front door we wanted glazed) stating that both top and bottom \"sight\" lines could be matched.

Deposit given by cheque.

Next day site visit happened to correctly measure up and told \"you have been sold a competitors front door product\" !! Plus told top glazing sight lines cannot be met.

Cancelled order. That was at the end of October 2011 - they cashed the cheque and I am still awaiting a refund despite phoning them 3 times.

Takes 30 days to acknowledge order cancellation and then another 30 days to raise a cheque. This company is well overdue by even it's own internal commitment.

Avoid these people like the plague !!! FALSE sales information and their commitment is worthless.
