We are now replacing our dishdrawer, after 15 years of service. Yes, 15 years of no repairs. It is actually still going but getting a bit noisy and to be honest we want a new one that is integrated now. The top dish drawer died at 12 years of age, with no repairs, so we just kept using the second. We followed all the advice such as using recommended powder, wiping the seals regularily, cleaning the bottom steel plates once a month. Thats why they give you those recomendations, so you get more life out of the appliance. People who ignore the recomendations, are propably the ones who always bag the appliance when it fails. We also have F&P washing machine and also had a fridge which lasted for 15 yrs. You just need to look after things if you want them to last!
