“Delivery not when promised and manager incredibly rude!”

I placed an order on Monday, all the items in my order said 'despatched within 24 hours'. Well, it is now Wednesday and my items have STILL not been despatched - it is the week before Christmas!! If they had said that they would sit on my order for 3 days or more, I would never have placed the order! They have a list of posting times and it verfies whether you'll get your order in time - mine said 'Royal Mail have advised us that it will take 48 hours from posting', so I chose to place the order, based on the fact that, with iwoot's apparent promise to despatch within 24 hours, I'd have received it in loads of time for Christmas. I called today and after hanging on listening to awful music for 21 minutes, my call was finally answered. I demanded that my order be changed to Next Day delivery, since they hadn't bothered to process it when promised. The least I would have expected was a courtesy e-mail telling me that the item wouldn't be despatched in the time specified. A manager called me back and said that he couldn't do anything - when I asked him to hold on just a second because he called while I was at a check-out desk in a store, he put the phone down!! Absolutely disgusting customer service and I will never order from this website again. ALL of the items they sell are also available on Amazon, who actually know what customer service is!
