“Gaurantee? yeah money spinner they mean!”

As other have said I would not touch Weatherseal again if they were the last company on earth. From day one we always thought our hallway seemed cool bordering on cold but thought no we must be imaginging it. I wish the alarm bell in my head had rung louder because after it was out of it's warranty we discovered why it was so cold, the wind was blowing a terible draught in the side of the door by the hinges.

Contacted Weatherseal and got a letter back oh yes I can get the work rectified under Gaurantee (the amazing 10 year one they sell you on) all I have to do is pay £90 up front as a callout fee! £90 to repair a defective allegedy "luxury" product?? Surely this must be wrong so I called them and I got someone who simply kept repeating yes you need to pay the £90 fee like some robot no matter what I said.

So if you want something that you will have to spend more money on later despite it having a gaurantee and being a luxury product - buy Weatherseal.

If on the other hand you want a product that lives up to it's claims and you won't be robbed if it doesn't avoid them like the plague!
