“Very poor service - do some research before signing up”

Giffgaff used to be ok, but in the last few weeks it's spiralled downwards out of control. Customer service is just does not exist, and due to some long lasting glitch it's impossible for many customers to top up their accounts using cretit and debit cards online. It will get worse as more people get to the end of their monthly credit and find their credit cards don't work on Giffgaff anymore. It doesn't matter how good the coverage is, or how great the pricing structure is, if you can't top up then your phone will stop working.

My advice is just have a look through the public forums on the Giffgaff website before joining, you will find all kinds of horror stories there.
