“Beware of the Weatherseal 10 year guarantee lanarkshire”

I purchased weatherseal windows (Glasgow based) under a year ago .In one of the rooms the window appears to have water inside the panel. I called weather seal and was advised there would be a call out charge of £75.00, and only after they agreed there was a fault the £75.00 would be returned. I advised the customer advisor that I was never mentioned by the sales person, he was very quick to point out that this was listed in the terms and conditions.I went on to state that this sounded unreasonable the advisor told me there was nothing wrong with my windows .....then hung up. I have called twice since with no resolve,only promises of call backs which never happen.
The sales person who came to my home mentioned the fantastic 10 year quite a a lot but oddly enough the call out charge was never mentioned once.They were very persuasive and assured me the after sales care was second to none.I am a pensioner and handed over the full payment with confidence due to the 10 year guarantee.Weatherseal were in constant contact before I agreed to purchase the windows I now cannot get anyone to call me back they are now not interested as I have handed over my cash. I only wish I had looked into websites before making this purchase and read the reviews as I now see I am not the only unhappy customer. I would urge anyone about thinking of purchasing from this company to think again.
