“not so happy birthday”

Myself my husband and three children visited your establishment tonight as a birthday treat and took three 3 friends with us. we chose it because we have been there numerous times and have always been satisfied, so you can imagine how embarressed we were when we sat down to eat after queing up for ages and waiting for vegetables to be brought out, only to find that the beef which is normally beautiful was difficult to cut and impossible to chew, even the children had to spit it into a napkin.The gammon was cooked nicely but had loads of fat on it which is okay if thats what you like but not everyone does. My husband had to ask for a steak knife to cut his meat but then he left most of it because of all the fat.The food was not extremely hot either.We were very disappointed especially has we had told our friends what lovely meals we have always had.I would'nt be surprised if you don't have more complaints because while we were eating the place started to empty and on speaking to a member of staff was told that they had ran out of vegetables and someone had gone to a local supermarket to get some more. I think it will be a while before we bother to eat there again
