Had Cashpassport card purchased through Australia Post and used in Europe two years running. No problem when getting cass out of ATMS.
Decided to cash it out in Sept 2011 and as it was in EUR and the AUD was lower should have got more dollars back. But they gave me only one AUD for every EUR. When I queried how payout was calulated they said if I had complaint I had to write to email address. I wrote to email address, no response, rang back - told takes 6 weeks as goes to UK. After 6 weeks still not response. Wrote email to UK site contact - got response asking for phone contact details and they would call me.
It is now 30 November and still no response to my question - how do they calculate payouts.
Happy to take you money but don't expect any assistance if you want it back. Go the the Banks cashcards at least they care about Customer Service charters most times.
Need transparency on how payouts are calculated.
