JFK to BCN tickets are sold as direct flight. Tickets have no info about stops, but in fact there are a stops in Madrid with change a plane. Wrong advertisement or well calculated and uncontrolled scam ? In order to change plane you have to find a gate number at total absence of any info and customer service, walk about 1 mile, go underground, then take a train, then go up, walk long again, find and go through security point, then wait for info for boarding point... No any staff around... Once you get into a new plane -you become a local passenger with even no free glass of water... You have to buy for their currency...Back from BCN to JFK, plane came to Madrid late. Nobody cares or helps. It stressed many passengers to miss a flight to JFK... it was a real nigntmare again to reach a plane to JFK at very short time available due to late arrival.
Our laggage also was lost and delivered 2 days after arrival to JFK.
I would never fly with IBERIA even for free.
