We were hosted on a shared cluster in the Netherlands before we moved to Dx3Webs. Our old hosting was too expensive and wasn't performant enough, so we started looking for a better hosting to suit our needs.
We came in to contact with Dx3Webs through http://www.magespeedtest.com/. Although we weren't looking for a Magento hosting (we have our own in-house build eCommerce platform). We contacted Dx3Webs to see if they could meet our needs, they suggested multiple servers, allowing us to choose the most appropriate server.
The suggested servers we're all good in price and were a choice between more performance vs more server space, since we didn't exactly knew what server too choose we followed Dx3Webs advice, which turns out to be a good choice.
The performance of our server is great. After our webshop was moved to the server, Dx3Webs did some great optimization, making the website about twice as fast as on the old hosting. A+ for the performance.
The website has gone down multiple times due to a MySQL Deadlock, this is a design flaw in our software. Dx3Webs has always responded fast in times the server went down and helped us pinpoint the issue so it could be fixed. Besides those small issues, the server has had a good uptime.
We can contact Dx3Webs in several ways. Contact form, email, skype or a ticket. Although this has its strengths, this has also the weakness that we don't know which support channel to choose in case of downtime (which channel is monitored most actively). We would like to have a more uniform/clear support channel. I do have to say that we always got the respond we needed, but when a website is down (and missing sales), a little structure is a plus.
