We booked a holiday with EasyJet through Broadway Travel.About a Month before
we was due to depart we decided to add another bag to our package. Broadway Travel dealt with this request, and promptly took the money from our Bank Account. About ten days before our holiday I realised we had not yet received
confirmation of our request even though the money had been taken from our Account. It then took three phone calls to Broadway Travel (at 10p a minute) before they finally sent out confirmation of the added luggage.
Our holiday arrived.We went to EasyJet check-in at Gatwick Airport only to be told Broadway Travel had not informed them of our request to add another bag. It was early hours in the morning,we were tired.And the situation caused an untold amount of time wasting and distress to me and my Family. After a few
heated exchanges I reluctantly agreed to pay for the extra bag again! (having no other option)which left our holiday spending money short.
On our return we phoned and explained to Broadway Travel of our experience.
Their reply was appalling, with a couldn't care less attitude, and offering no apologies, or explanation whatsoever as to why this situation occurred. We are still awaiting our refund over a week later...
