Well this is an oldie from 2005/2006 but it still annoys me that I let them get away with it. I had bought said card and lots of other parts from Dabs and the graphics card later developed a fault and started artifacting. I had a previous ATI Radeon card which had stopped working too with a Gigabyte socket A motherboard. I decided to RMA the radeon first as the FX5700 card would work properly when I used a different DVI port. The radeon RMA took around 3 months as dabs sent it to the manufacturer and that eventually got sorted. Then I decided to RMA the motherboard and graphics card seeing as they are from the same manufacturer. I sent them to dabs and waited as they had sent it to gigabyte in taiwan to get it repaired. When the motherboard came back I asked them where is my FX5700 and they stated it was never sent and not logged for RMA. However on the website I could not rma it as it was set as already returned. My mum (because I was under 16 at the time) had to email and she isn't technical at all and dabs blamed us for sending the card when it wasn't authorized which I understand but they didn't even bother to notify us of this error. They declined to help at all and I lost an £85 graphics card. I stopped using them ever since until I needed a few things. I made sure I check everywhere else and come to them last. The prices might be slightly cheaper but thats because the customer service sucks. If you go on any tech forum in the UK when people post links to parts or recommend retailers they are never in that list and this is the reason why. Ebuyer, Scan, OcUK, Novatech and the others are way better than Dabs and I've experienced their returns systems and they are way better. Some of them even pay for the delivery on the returns.
So all in all don't shop at Dabs unless you need to. Badly designed site and run by people who couldn't give a toss about a long time decent spending customer.
