“Super Depots”

I have been with Green Flag for a few years now. great company who have all local garages near to me or you where where you might breakdown!

BUT! It now appears the owners RBS have to comply with government doctrine and save£££££ so they are cancelling all contracts with local garages (with VERY extreme job losses) to go with the BIG boys. Who will have super depots strategecally placed at certain appointed locations around the country.

So rather than local independent garages 5 minutes away they will now be 30 min to two hours away depending on your location.

I have spoken to some of these independent recovery garages and have found out they are being screwed big time by Greenflag!! after years of loyal service. Contracts being cut short or not renewed! Many experienced tradesmen being forced into unemployment!

I will not be renewing this year!!! and am asking you all, to consider who do you want to repair/recover you vehicle? The local garage closest to where your having a problem. who are employing local tradesman or the multiconlomerate 50 miles away? Who are paying dirt poor wages to their staff. Yes spoken to them as well!!

This is just like the councils who promised better sarvices by shutting down local town hall sevices and getting all centralised. Well we all know that was a great plan? NOT!!!
