Sky Broadband, Initially I was getting around 8mbps although at some stage it went up to 14mbps. Last year the speed started to drop. I was made to do countless tests, putting my laptop in every corner of the house, using shields, changing filters and so on. eventually somebody admitted that I had been pegged to 8mbps !!! nothing wrong with the line. anyway, now the speed has dropped to just over 3mbps and I think Sky has taken too many customers and basically they cannot meet the demand. I have been with Sky for more than twelve years and I upgraded this summer to one TB box and therefore I need to wait until the year has finished. After that it will be SAYONARA from me. I have come across far too many Sky customer services staff who did not have a clue as to what they were talking about that I cannot bear thinking about my money going to pay for their wages. (in all fairness, I have come across a few who were pleasant). Anyway, the rating I have given is one star, and that is because there is no option to give it zero star. To those of you thinking of taking Sky products, my advice is simple: If you don't mind spending hours on the phone to their ''helpline'' then go ahead, otherwise you will be better breaking a leg, it will be less stressful.
