“help my patterdale keeps snapping at my children ”

my georgeous patterdale terrier riley is my best friend we got him when he was only 8 month old he is neerely 4 now and he is a great dog beutifull rare fun to take for walks and he used to be ok around my children untill just recentely we have also 3 springer spaniels and they are great with kids they will play all day rolling around the floore but my patterdale accidently pupped my female springer so because riley was super hyper so we made the decision to have him castrated so there wouldent be no more accidents and he is not our riley any more he was constantly barking uncontrolable and he still loves attention from me but he started snapping at my 2 young boys and i did have riley do all commands he was a great dog with great tempermant and he is loved so much but then he has started snarling at me and also got so much more violent with my children i am now afrade of him and my kids carnt even stroke him now as he is biting them what do i do i love him but he is so unpradictable and i am terrified for my kids
