OK from the start I will say I have shopped at all the major supermarkets in the UK favoring Morissons and Asda, but Sainsburys is OK as well.
I have also done Lidl and Aldi and went to Aldi again today (after not using them for a while).
The layout of the store is OK but would be better if the items were in some kind of order, the prices are fantastic on alot of items but some are just silly such as prices for sweets and beer.
But as far as a whole customer journey experience this is truly the worst in the UK.....and my reasoning for saying that? Well this all comes at the end of filling my trolley when I have to unload my items onto a conveyor then load then back into the trolley then take the trolley to a packing area then unload the trolley to pack the items then load the packed bags back into the trolley then take the trolley to the car then unload the bags from the trolley into the car then take the trolley back
Why not either the well paid cashier pack the bags or let you do it yourself while the items are being checked out?
A major flaw in the Aldi process
