There is nothing to like about this company, old battered car. I had to pay 300 Euros deposit because I would not take out the extra optional insurance to cover mirrors and tyres. Other carhire companies usually only take a record of your credit card incase you do actually damage the car, but Auriga actually charge your card, and when they refund the 300 Euros back to your credit card you actually loose about £20, so there must be some more small print somewhere that you pay a fee for using the credit card. Staff are very rude and unhelpful, queues are massive because everyone is complaining about the extra costs they are being asked to pay.
I would recommend once you have booked a car online and know which carhire company you have been allocated, read customer reviews and if you are allocated a poor company like Auriga, look at the smallprint in the email you are sent for a request to change carhire company.
