We flew with Air Transat on Sept. 30th to London Gatewick. Worst flight ever. Non reclining seats should not be allowed on long haul flights. Leg room extremely cramped. Food very poor. Have flown many times with chartered airlines, this is the first bad experience. Came back with Canadian Affair, and since they are sister companies I do not understand the difference in quality. Canadian Affair seats (at least on our backhome flight) did recline somewhat. Meal and snack much better. Our pre-booked tickets were allocated to someone else, and we ended up sitting in front of children who seemed to take great delight in kicking the back of our seats for ten solid hours! Thankfully it was a daytime flight. Seems like pride in service and customer satisfaction is a thing of the past. Will not use them again. We have a 'scribbled' note to forward to Canadian Affair requesting a refund of money paid to reserve our homeward bound seat that did not materialize. Wonder when and if it will be forthcoming.
