I got screwed by carhire3000 and their low prices which include, hidden away not very clearly in the Ts and Cs, payment for a full tank of gas - you then don't need to return the tank full.
I rented a car for a day and didn't need anything like a full tank. Alamo quickly refunded the FSO (Fuel Service Option). In addition, the staff (Trudeau Airport, Montreal) were friendly, the car was new (8km) and was a free upgrade. They didn't push any extra charges on me as other reviews have suggested so maybe that's more the States than Canada.
Very very happy - and yes this is a genuine review - I panned carhire3000 yesterday and would much prefer to go direct to the companies at the airport - any of them - than use a dodgy online company again.
