Appalling Customer Service
I was Robbed at the end of November 2004 in Spain. Tesco Travel Insurance disputed that one member of our party of three was not even insured because the policy was not bought on her loyalty card, after letters to Tesco Head office this matter was resolved.
Tesco wrote to us at the end of February 2005 to tell us that in order to proceed with the claim they needed proof on two stolen items, which I duly supplied. After 4 weeks or more I telephoned again to ask how the claim was proceeding - a return telephone from Tesco stating that the claim could only proceed with further proof of ownership of a further two (different) items.
Now we are getting near the end of April - no hurry, no cares, and stuff the customer because we are too big for all this trivial stuff.
