“OK at first but”

I have been with this provider for four years without many issues. Until recently that is when suddenly I get charged an over usage fee that is 70Gb over limit. No explanation or evidence on bill, no prior notification despite stating in policy on line that warnings would be sent in writing if there was any infringement of fair usage policy. The charge was applied without due notification and when I asked for proof of over usage I was informed that this was not possible. I have since discovered that, without prior warning they have switched my line which is no longer supported by BT and if I want to change I will have to pay to have it reinstated by BT I will also lose the number I have had for more than 20 years.

This provider has a habit of introducing measures without giving prior warning of the implications involved. It's pity as they were OK at one time but they are not to be trusted long term. Keep clear of this lot they cannot be trusted to maintain the service as described on sign up and will not tell you when and how changes will affect you.
