On 17 Aug 2011, I ordered a cheap laptop online to take along on holiday 5 days later. Delivery was stated as within 3 days. On 20 Aug, still no confirmation of delivery date. I called up and was told delivery could not be made before 23 Aug. I decided to cancel order and went into high street to get a more expensive one! The agent advised me to reject delivery should it happen before I left. On 22 Aug, delivery was attempted and I refused it. 4 weeks later, I am still waiting for a refund. I have written numerous times to the company, even to the CEO, John. The culture of incompetence in this organisation is unrivalled. Today, they finally called to advise me an investigation is under way.... 4 weeks after initial complaint. I spoke to Amex yesterday and a temporary refund was put on my account - Now, that's a company to patronise. I've never come across the PC World-basement-level service before. Never again will I shop at PC World. NEVER AGAIN! Absolute bulldust, from the CEO to the gnat in the call centre.
