“Great product, good value”

I have been using Naturtint 6G regularly for nearly eight years now and my hair is in lovely condition. Its long (nearly touches my boobs) and so it gets naturally dry at the ends; I find that it is in better condition after I dye it. I also use the naturtint conditioner which I find is the best one to balance my hair between tints, although on my length of hair I tend to use the sample that comes with the dye all in one go.

I like the product as its easy to use and it doesn't stain my skin near the hairline which a lot of hairdresser dyes have done (although as with any dye you do have to be a bit careful!). I find that if I cover the roots first there is about a third of a bottle left which I then use on the rest of my hair, and I then comb it through for a reasonable coverage. It seems to cover the grey completely and even a comb through on the longer sections takes very well. If you have hair as long as mine, on the first application you might need two bottles to ensure proper coverage. I quite like the effect I get with my technique; the colour fades over 6 weeks from a dark brown that looks a bit reddy in sunlight, to a dark copper tone, if I miss sections when I re-dye it looks like the natural variations I used to have in my hair. I will never go back to having my hair coloured in a salon.
