I've been shopping on-line with Sainsbury's for about ten years, probably more. Before going on holiday I placed an order for delivery the day after I returned from holiday. I ordered 3 bottles of wine which was on special offer i.e. 3 for £12. Sainsbury's sent me a confirmation email saying I would be charged £12 but I was surprised to see they charged me £8.99 a bottle when the wine was delivered. I complained and was told the offer expired the day I got back from holiday. I'm now shopping with Tesco as they clearly indicate when an offer expires. I feel cheated by Sainsbury's. One would think that in the interest of good customer relations they would let me have the wine at the offer price as confirmed in their email.
