When our reconditioned Dyson died (which we had for 5 years) we needed to find a quick replacement. Having heard good reviews about Hoover in general, we settled on a Hoover Sprint Bagless 1900w, which claimed to be exceptional at removing pet hairs on all surfaces. How wrong we were. Since having this (just over a year) we've found it to be rubbish at removing pet hair from carpet (we only have carpeted floors in our hallway and bedrooms.) Over a week ago, it suddenly stopped working. We left it overnight and I thought it may have just over heated, so I went back to it and it started working again! Great!! My relief was short lived when I've just tried it today and again, it's not working! I've emptied the chamber and even put a new fuse in, but nothing! What a complete waste of money!! When going for a new hoover, stay well clear of this heap of junk!!!!! Back to Dyson for me at least I know even a second hand one will last longer than a brand new Hoover!!!
