We took delivery of a Hyundai from Enterprise, Newbury whilst our car was being repaired. We had no choice of hire car companies as our insurer has some kind of cheap-skate deal with the hideous car hire company "Enterprise".
The car was absolutely disgusting on delivery, sticky coffee stains everywhere and it stunk of cigarettes having not been cleaned at all. The next day one of the tyres was flat, so we were told to take the car to a local Tyre Depot to get it fixed. My wife waited over one and a half hours in the tyre place while Enterprise argued about paying. Eventually they did pay then one month later we just received an invoice for the repair - to fix a tyre which was losing air when we got the car. This is clearly a hire car company which likes to try to con it's clients.
We also put in a telephone complaint into their customer service department which we were told would result in a senior staff member calling us within 48 hours. Suffice to say, nobody called, but they did find time to erroneously bill us for damage we didn't cause!
I have since billed them for my time at my normal hourly rate since I lost around half a business day (during which they wasted messing me around) so we are even now - LOL.
