I have been on lighter life now for 3 weeks and so far lost 1.5 stone I was 19 stone to start with.
The shakes are nice, the soups are okay too and out oof the bard cranberry is lovely.
The first week was tough I had Bar-B-Q's it was my birthday and my wife's but I stuck to it and my will power is rubbish when it comes to food.
But for me the ketosis is what stops me from cheating, it takes 3 days to enter ketosis and for the sake of eating one meal it's not worth it.
After the 1st week I felt great really good I lost 1 stone and felt amazing not just for losing weight my in general.
BUT.... Yes there is a but it is very hard if you love your food this is no easy ride but will rubbish will power if I can do it anyone can.
There are times I so want to tuck into a Chinese or Indian or just a juicy burger with cheese and it can really make your mood swing. It easy no need to think about what to eat just take your shake or bar and off you go.
I will stick to this now I'm on it as a man it's only 8 weeks long on total I think women it's 3 months. But I think at the end I will switch to a low carb eating habit such as the NEW ATKINS diet.
I wish I had read this one first like lighter life you go into a state of ketosis but you eat normal food because one thing on lighter life you so miss and trust you really do is just eating something or even having a diet coke.
I hope this helps you if you are reading this but my final verdict is this......
Lighter life is VLCD 500c a day you will lose weight very quickly and feel good BUT it is expensive, you will miss not just food but just eating something and please read the side effects of a VLCD and do check with your doctor I did and if you are overweight with a BMI over 29 then do it for your health if nothing else my doctor said it was a good idea.
If I knew then what I know now after reading and studying I would have gone to the new Atkins program.
