I used fasthosts over 2 years ago, they had a security breach and changed my password. I could not access my account. As I could not not access my account I could not update my credit card details as I did not update my credit card details on time due to their mistake they penalised with me a £20 charge. They claimed this was the cost of the reminder e-mails they sent to my address. I claimed this was unlawful, their rude customer service team replied "no it's not" and "tough luck". I cancelled my account.
Before fasthosts turned into a joke, I recommended it to a friend. They are now having problems with them. I am very sorry I recommended them.
I know legal action has been taken against this company and has been successful.
