General Comments
I'm Vinnyguitarman I've been playing and performing for over 30 years , I have a vast collection of guitars and I love to do reviews. The Fender Stratocaster is probably the standard by which all other electric solidbodys are judged. Its probably the most versitile electric and certainly the most popular. It's a great guitar for the price, none better and its very versitile. Has a great clean sound and with the five position switch and the three pick-up structure the sound types are endless. I've never ever picked up a Strat that did not have a nice very playable neck. My only real knock is that if you want to play the heavey stuff the guitar needs to be modified from the the standard three single coil pick up set up. I have many guitars and I love to use my standard Strat as is ...if I want to play heavey metal I'll go to an Ibanez. If I had to only own one guitar ( and I have over 20) I would pick the Strat.
