“Gucci watch for Dad's birthday, had it for 9 months...”

I purchased a Gucci watch for my Dad for his birthday in November 2010 his 50th, the day I purchased it I took it in to engrave in Timpson.
Watch cost £450.

Now my dad worn it once to go out, it prob rained a little and rain got inside the watch withing one week of having it.
So i took it in for repair to Erenest jones, and they told me the have to send it off to Switzerland, so they did.

4 months later the watch returned to England, and I got the watch back.
Dad goes on Holiday to Germany for the weekend, comes back, same problem again. He did not go swimming at all! Water again inside watch.
I take it back to Ernest Jones again, explain them, they send it off again to Switzerland, 1 month later they phone me today, and do you know what the problem is???? That's right, its Timpsons fault, they did no seal the back properly, repair cost for Ernest to fix it, is £270!!!! 50% more then the watch price, wtf?!

I have purchased Armani watch from them, 2 Armani watches actually, jewelry, and now they fob me off blaming someone else?!
Why couldn't they tell me the first time that was the problem so I could of told Timpson! Not 9 months after the problem! I don't even have their receipt!!!!

Avoid spending anything over £200 there, I was actually thinking buying a nice Hugo Boss watch for myself in the future from there, I will take my money elsewhere now!

What is a joke, this birthday present for my dad, in whole 9 months, he has worn it once 4 times max!
