“Bideford Bay”

We booked Bideford Bay as a second chance with Park Resorts as we Cancelled our May Holiday with them due to BAD reviews at a different camp site (we booked a 3 bed silver caravan).
When we first arrived we thought not bad the grounds are well maintained. On our arrival to our chalet I thought we had stepped back to the 60's. There was only 2 bedrooms which is great with a 17yr son and 15 yr daughter. I then had to buy spray bleach and spend the first hour cleaning the chalet. There was only two beds made up and no duvet for the 3rd bed after 2 phone calls and 1 visit to check in to ask for a duvet it finally arrived at 8pm. There was no shower and only an electric fire in the lounge. I know we took our dog (which is black and white) when sweeping the carpet I was amazed at the amount of pet hair I got of the carpet brown being the main colour (I have never known my eczema be so bad). When we went to reception to complain about the lack of a shower in the chalet we were told that they needed to have a difference between bronze and silver chalets. I always thought showers were an every day thing not a luxury (silly me for thinking that way). They were good when I said about the amount of pet hairs and sent housekeeping round to hoover up despite brushing the carpet twice on the same day housekeeping filled up the cylinder with pet hairs they did leave me a hoover which I them used as soon as housekeeping left and still managed to half fill the cylinder again. Is 20 mins per unit enough time to clean.We booked to stay Sat to Sat and we were home by Wed lunch I WOULD NEVER USE PARK RESORTS AGIAN THEIR SITE MAY BE WELL MAINTAINED SHAME ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
