Good Points
Lots of features, lots of communication options

Bad Points
Far to fragile, and has memory problems.

General Comments
I have had my Sony Ericsson P900 mobile phone for 3 weeks. It has some fantastic features, but some serious design flaws.

One problem is the limited ability to shut down programs in memory, leading to memory leaks. The only way around this is to install a third party software program called TaskMan which then allows you to close applications you've finished with and clear down the memory.

Another problem is that if you take an action such as deleting a text message, you have to confirm the action with Yes No touch-screen areas, and there is no button which you can use to do this instead. Which is fine, unless you have experienced the worst design flaw of all and are unable to use the touch-screen......

The worst is the flap, which sits in such a way that it is almost designed to break the screen. With the slightest pressure the flap digs into the touch-screen, and cracks it.

New owners beware: I'd advise putting some soft foam between the flap and the screen to avoid heartbreak. The cost of replacing the screen is £190.

You can remove the flap altogether, but this leaves the screen even more exposed and prone to damage.

The screen gives a fantastic picture, but I must rate the screen quality as very poor based on how fragile it is.

The other problem is Sony Ericsson's refusal to comment on this problem or offer any solution or consider redesigning. Don't expect any help from them on this
