Good Points
Excellent Connectivity for e-mail, sms and mms
Bluetooth, infared and cable
Working camera and video capture with ability to send via e-mail etc
Decent battery life
Triband
Speakerphone
Interactivity of different functions so phone can answer with a image of caller
Ring tone can be anything that can be recorded
First real complete comms tool that fits the bill
Looks cool and is thin and not heavy
Bad Points
Expensive
Would be better with pocket PC
Wireless LAN needed
Bundled software (needs office type apps)
Inability to swap easilly between functions
Sometimes touch screen misinterprets a click for an action on the active text box ... this is severe nit picking!!
General Comments
This Sony Ericsson P900 mobile phone is the mutts nutts. For mobile office it is strong but if all you need is e-mail, Outlook synch and camera/video then it far surpasses the competition. Its the new Nokia communcator or the revised XDA that never arrived. Comparing to the HP top IPAQ it is not as good a PDA but looking at the big picture it is a brilliant piece of kit. Not really used the music functionality much but it seems strong there too ..especially with the expandable memory cards. In summary as a comms work horse it is super; as an organiser it is good but as a complete it is a winner.
