“Avoid like the plague ”

I was talked into this Travelex Cash Passport card by the bank personell, I think they get a commission. I was assured that this card was simple and would be taken everywhere. First, I tried to set up an online access, but after about two hours I gave up. I went to Germany with this card, would not work anywhere. I had to call the assistance number, which is in England. They informed me that my card was not even active, they fixed that. They tell you that there are no transaction fees.... read the fine print. You get charged every time you use it, and It still will not work in any small town ATM's. It was not until I got to northern Germany and found a couple of large banks, that I Could get any money off the card. Well now I am back and I want to cash out the card. I was told today that I had to have the two page recept, which I'm sure I did not get when I got the card, or they are going to charge me a transaction fee to clear the card. That is just Bull.... In today's electronic age, they have a record of the purchase, it was only three weeks ago. It's just a scam to rip you off even more. Avoid Travelex Cash Passport cards like the Plague, Just use your own ATM card or you Visa, it will work just as well.
