“Sadly another victim of Sheila's Wheels sharp practice”

My wife (having shopped around) took out a fully comprehensive policy with Sheila's wheels, I was a named driver. As with most of these reviews, we sent in a proof of NCD, they sent it back saying it was not sufficient evidence, so we dually sent a copy of NCD once it arrived from our previous insurer - in time to make it to their offices. We were informed by letter, 1-week later that her policy was cancelled 5-days hence due to non disclosure. Couldn't call because thay don't answer the phone on the weekend - once I finally got through, no apology, no contricion despite admitting they had the documents. They could however reinstate the policy for a higher fee, no suprise there then. Just like many others drove around for 5-days without cover with 3-kids and a 40k car, never mind passing ANPR devices, God knows how I didn't get a ticket - thanks Sheila's Wheels, not only zero customer service actually allow you to drive illegaly. If you take only one piece of advice this year, avoid Sheila's Wheels.
