Bought my bike second hand, have now done 30,000 miles on it.
Replaced the saddle because the original was not comfy. (I am somewahat overweight)
I use mine mainly around town, where its fast enough to leave cars behind and nimble enough to weave through traffic.
Definately not a bike for speeding on. Go over 70 MPH and you have to hold on due to the wind drag.
In the time I have owned it I have replaced 2 rear brake disks, the chain (After only 6,000 miles) and had 1 broken spoke on the rear wheel. Apart from that just tyres and brake pads.
Did have a problem with the oil breather but it cured itself.
You can do most of the maintenance on it yourself. Service costs about £40.00
Good bike for carrying a passenger, seems to be very little change to it's characteristucs 'two up'
The chrome and engine covers are showing their age but I do take it out in all weathers and the winter salt takes its toll.
This is the best bike I have owned for reliability and fun.
